Discomfort

Why is acting in spite of discomfort so important? Because “comfortable” is where you’re at now. If you want to move to a new level in your life, you must break through your comfort zone and practice doing things that are not comfortable.

Let’s suppose you are currently leading a level 5 life and you want to move to a level 10 life. Level 5 and below are within your comfort zone, but level 6 and above are outside your box, in your “uncomfort” zone. Meaning, to get to a level 10 life from a level 5 life, you have to travel through your uncomfort zone.

Majority of people are not willing to be uncomfortable. There’s nothing wrong with it but it doesn’t allow you to grow. The only time you can actually grow is when you are outside your comfort zone.

If you want to be successful, you’d better get comfortable with being uncomfortable. Consciously practice going into your uncomfort zone and doing what scares you. Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far they can go.

Here’s an equation: CZ = WZ. It means your “comfort zone” equals your “wealth zone.”

What’s your legacy?

Have you ever thought about the legacy you’re leaving your family, your community, your world? Most people never give it a second thought. But a legacy is something you’re creating every day, whether you realize it or not.

Leaving a lasting legacy is about more than achieving great things. When you treat others well and create a reputation of integrity, you’ll set a powerful example for leaders to come.

Remember, it’s not what we leave FOR others that matters; it’s what we leave IN them that matters most. Possessions and wealth does not make a true legacy. It’s about leaving behind the essence of your Authentic Soul. That’s what the world needs from you. So serve others by leaving behind the best and most beautiful parts of you. Today, and every day, create your legacy.

Get more productive

All it takes is a mind shift in productivity. Follow these 4 actionable items.

  1. Have a mission for your life. Most people can’t be productive because they don’t know where they’re going. Why do you get up everyday? That will give you the energy and focus to say “no” to things and stay on track.
  2. Planning. Once you know what you want to get done, sit down and plan. What am I getting done today? This month? This quarter? This year? Have a plan.
  3. Schedule. Look at your day and your work and design the perfect day, the perfect week. Incorporate the different pillars of life like friendship, and family, and health and spirituality. Show me your calendar and I’ll show you your success.
  4. Share your mission for your life, with people, with anybody. The more you talk about your goals, the more it becomes top of mind. The more it becomes part of your life design.

Karma

Just as gravity is a law of the physical world, so is karma a law of the spiritual world. We are held responsible for our actions and, more precisely, for the intention of our actions. This responsibility exists within the context of an individual soul’s relationship with the Universe. When one deliberately disobeys the will of the Universe, karma is accrued. It is the intent of one’s actions that generates karma.

Karma is not about retribution, vengeance, punishment or reward, but a reaping of the harvest we ourselves have planted. Through our thoughts and behaviors, we sow seeds that are later harvested.

What goes around, comes around.
Keep your your circle positive.
Think good thoughts.
Speak good words.
Do good deeds.

Fail. A lot.

“It is impossible to live without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all — in which case, you fail by default.” –JK Rowling

Failure is something most of us try to avoid as much as possible. The true innovators, however, don’t only accept that it’s part of the process; they aim to fail regularly by setting “impossible” goals.

You need to accept that failure is necessary for progress. If you dream big and challenge the status quo (I hope you do!), you’re going to have to take some chances. Failure is possible, but know that if you fall you can get right back up.

Definition of an entrepreneur

A person who solve problems for people at a profit. That’s right, an entrepreneur is nothing more than a “problem solver.”

So I ask you, would you rather solve problems for more people or fewer people? If you replied more, then you need to start thinking bigger and decide to help massive numbers of people – thousands, even millions. The by-product is that the more people you help, the “richer” you become, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and definitely financially.

Life’s purpose

The purpose of our lives is to add value to the people of this generation and those that follow.

We each came to this earth with natural talents, things we’re just naturally good at. These gifts were given to you for a reason: to use and share with others.

Research shows that the happiest people are those who use their natural talents to the utmost. Part of your mission in life then must be to share your gifts and value with as many people as possible.

Habit stacking

The concept of habit stacking is a set of habits, a script of your morning routine to make sure you get the most of your morning and to win the day.

Habit stacking is a concept of sticking a new habit to a current one, for example, when you’re brushing your teeth you can read 2 pages right after doing it. You’re more likely to develop a new habit on top of an old one because your brain has lots of synaptic connections for that habit to run it on autopilot.
